Cyber Thugz by We Drop
Hailing out of South Africa and breaking onto the scene with their first official release ‘We Drop’ brings us ‘Cyber Thugz’. Starting off the album is ‘Desolation’; this track has a great blend of deep and tech step d’n’b that moves you through seamlessly from beginning to end. Following suit is ‘Cyber Thugz’ combining tight filtered drum breaks and spacious landscapes building up to another excellent meld of deep and tech step with superb halftime mid drop. Finally ‘My Mind’ is a curveball of a track showing that ‘We Drop’ has diversity in style. This track enters into hybrid trap territory with a de-tuned vocal and heady lyrics all the while ripping your guts out with all the growling filthy bass hits you could ever hope for.
